The Ukuqonda Institute's REACH Education Programme aims to address the low quality of education, particularly in the critical areas of Mathematics, Physical Science and English in historically disadvantaged schools in communities affected by mining operations.
The project provides a range of services to participating schools, including:
- learner support;
- educator development;
- upgrading resources for learning and teaching; and
- developing feeder schools through enhanced educator capacity in Mathematics, Physical Science and English.
